At Incom, we consistently prioritise the broader impact of our business activities. While the core of business involves exchanging products or services for profit, we are steadfast in our commitment to minimising any potential negative effects.
To this end, we have established processes that place a strong emphasis on employee well-being, as well as social and environmental responsibility.
As the CEO of Media & Communications Ltd I am committed to leading our organisation towards a more sustainable future. Achieving carbon net zero, reducing our environmental footprint, and embracing recycling are imperatives for our business and our planet.
Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, and it is our responsibility to take meaningful action. I firmly believe that businesses like ours can and must be at the forefront of this change. That is why we are actively working towards becoming carbon net zero. This means reducing our greenhouse gas emissions as much as possible and offsetting any remaining emissions through credible and impactful initiatives.
I founded this business around 30 years ago and since then a key part of our sustainability strategy involves renewing and reusing redundant IT equipment. The lifecycle of electronic devices, particularly phones, has a significant environmental impact. By extending the life of these products through refurbishment and encouraging the reuse of devices, we can reduce e-waste and lessen the demand for new resources. Our commitment is not only to recycle but to actively promote the renewal of phones, making sustainability accessible to all our customers.
As a business, we will continue to drive progress and make sustainability a core part of who we are as a company. Our commitment to carbon net zero, is continuous, and I am confident that our efforts will contribute to a healthier planet for future generations.
